Whats even more idiotic is Bush perpetuating the problems in the mid east by totally siding with Israel...

But yes, Bin Laden is a douche
I agree. It is almost like BinLaden is more intelligent, despite his being the scum of all scum. Everyday we become more isolated and hated and I also believe more vulnerable. There was a statistic a while back that the “potential” recruits for terror has gone up over 800% in the last while. How are we going to fight everyone?

Exactly... our war on terror is a total joke. You can't declare war on an idea/ideal. Terror has been around for ages, and will continue to be till the end of time. This war by my rationale will never cease to die... it will go on forever...

Another vietnam? Not now...

A few years from now? I think so...

Because they are like Kerry, full of critical remarks but offer no solid solutions. Any compairson of Bush to Bin Laden is flawed at best. Wood_e, were you even alive during Vietnam, or are you basing your remarks on hearsay? I am not defending the recent Israel deal, nor defending Bush's handling of the situation in general, I just cannot see how any thinking person can compare the two?

Bush wouldnt have to handle the situation if he didnt back himself into the hole.

I for one will never vote bush, I'm voting Kerry. Biggest reason is I refuse to be DRAFTED next summer to fight for a stupid "war" that we did NOT have any reason be in for a stupid leader who has done nothing notably good during his administration except lie.

I will not fight or die in a war I dont believe in and for a leader I do not support.

And big daddy, I'm not attacking you or what you believe in, but I hope you or the bush supporters out there do not believe Bush's ads that attack Kerry. Stuff like that 50 cent gas tax -- that was 12 years ago when gas was still 79 cents a gallon. Then they say how he supported one thing at one time but not at another time -- well yea! Back in 1993, raising the tax on gas that costs about 79 cents a gallon was one thing, but now when, becuase of the war, gas has risen to 1.70 a gallon, he does NOT support the tax increase! But bush's ads dont tell you that.

Bin Laden is ruining it for all of us. As for Bush, I think he has done a good job given the hand he was dealt. I believe tax cuts are a much better way to stimulate the economy than increased government spending. (Democrat's solution always).

Drafted? Where did you get that from?

How do you figure that gas has gone up because of the war? You do realize the OPEC cut production to keep oil prices up, right?

Bush got backed into a hole Clinton created by failing to respond to numerous terrorists attacks on US personnel. Think about it, did George Bush cause all these problems in two years? No, they were started long before he came on the scene and now he has to deal with them.

I do not expect you to fight in a war you do not believe in. And I too am not attacking you But: I do believe the Bush ads, they only touch the tip of the iceberg. Kerry, who owns numerous billion dollar homes, millions of stock in Hines Corp., who by the way out sources numerous jobs, who stood side by side with Jane Fonda (Traitor) while my father fought for their freedoms in Vietnam, etc. A 50 cent gas tax in 1993 is still 50 cents that belongs to the American Citizens, not Kerry. Kerry does support tax increases (I think, he waffles so much it is hard to say) as he would roll back the recent cuts and more. Speaking of lies have you done your research on Kerry via history, not propganda? By the way, I bet Bin Laden would rather have Kerry as our President...hmmm I wonder why?

The terrorists said they WOULD rather have BUSH be re-elected! I cant find the article, but it was back when a train got bombed in Spain not too long ago. The group responsible said they wanted bush reelected.

The whole iraq thing was uncalled for and completely unnecessary. You talk about Clinton not doing anything about terrorists, but what the fu*k has bush done? We went to iraq, blew up some sand dunes and that's it. There have been terrorists attacks on other nations since then, so obvoiusly Bush has done nothing either!!

Another reason to vote for kerry, Lesser of 2 evils (imo, and i'm not calling either evil but you get the point.)

During the Clinton administration I worked for a counter terrorism agency. I did not have any knowledge past the funding and financial support of terrorism studies. I was just a “little peon inside the beltway.”

But the one thing I can assure you of is that based upon my perception, no party, democrat or republican, was willing to take the action necessary in terms of funding. It was viewed as “pork.” Well, you have witnessed the lack of “pork” if you saw the buildings fall.

75% of the US population favor jobs over tax cuts. My opinion, I don’t want or need the tax break and my taxes are my single biggest expense, they exceed my housing expense, utilities, food, and insurance combined. The little bit of a break I get is not worth what I will need to pay back in the future. It is irresponsible to run huge deficits and spend future earnings now.

A deficit IS a tax increase-with interest!!!!

True conservatives don’t do deficits!!!

True Christians don’t lie and steal money form investors and families education plans!!!

Neither are good choices for President, but I do agree on the lesser of 2 evils.

I saw a bumper sticker yesterday “Republicans for Kerry” I think we may see a bit more of this action. I watched a few interviews with some very intelligent and successful republicans, all of which are voting for Kerry for the same reasons we are talking about.

Kerry now has an 8% advantage in the highest income bracket and with those holding an advanced degree. This speaks volumes and it is why Bush is going after votes of those less educated.

"The terrorists said they WOULD rather have BUSH be re-elected! I cant find the article", that's because it does not exist, besides I do not believe the "terrorists" regardless of what they say. Logic says that they do not want someone who will got to war with them, when they can have the traitor and chicken that Kerry is.

"but what the fu*k has bush done?" Chased Osma into hiding, captured Saddam, and we have had zero attacks here on US soil since the war. What more do you want?

"75% of the US population favor jobs over tax cuts" Source? I prefer jobs too, but I too pay thousands in taxes and am sick of it. I have to live on a budget, so should the government.

"
True conservatives don’t do deficits!!!" The clean up of New York, the war and other things the President inherited drove the deficit up, not the tax cut.

"True Christians don’t lie and steal money form investors and families education plans" I agree, but what are you saying nothing factual, documented or otherwise here.

"I saw a bumper sticker yesterday “Republicans for Kerry” I think we may see a bit more of this action. I watched a few interviews with some very intelligent and successful republicans, all of which are voting for Kerry for the same reasons we are talking about." Sounds like Kerry when he said heads of other countries are backing him, then when asked who he could not document any! Who were these "intelligent and successful" republicans you watched?

"Kerry now has an 8% advantage in the highest income bracket and with those holding an advanced degree. This speaks volumes and it is why Bush is going after votes of those less educated" According to whom? What poll do you quote here? Just because you hold an "advanced" degree does not mean you can tell me the earth is flat. Some of the dumbest people, meaning having no common sense, I know hold PHd's.

I refuse to sit with my head between my legs and pretend that the Osma's of the world will leave us alone if we retreat.

Right on, Big Daddy! I agree 100%.

The big gripe I have with Bush's presidency is the whole "No child left behind" education fiasco. This short-sighted ploy has absolutely destroyed the public schools in SC, and I'm sure it has had a similar effect in other school districts around the country.

I agree with the statement that Bush has done the best with the situations he's had to deal with. i also believe that citizens dont hear everything until years later, due to evidnece or information that needs to be kept low profile.

america has so much to offer the world. i think bush is trying to take advantage of this fact, i would too if i were president.

remember that those soldiers that are dieing willingly joined the military, if they want to choose the wars they want to fight in, then they shouldnt be in the military, period.
