Maybe I should have said I have a "dedicated leaf blower" for drying the car
It is only used for drying vehicles.
If someone is using a blower, I recommend a Black&Decker Leaf Hog.
You can remove the attatchments with the push of a button, clean the fan and reinstall..., takes about 30 seconds.
"If" anything is still inside, run it for 10-15 seconds..., at the "high velocity"..., it won't be there long
There are tons of people that detail cars using this "trick" and have never had anything "sucked in" and thrown at the car.
I have been using a leaf blower for years and have never had any foreign matter hit the car
Like you mentioned..., no matter what you are doing, it is always best to be carefull and use common sense
