wow warped tire? that sounds sirrius!!!!!!!111 Rotor arms? Nah I think it's your muffler bearings or possibly driveshaft fluid.
If it's the muffler bearings, there should be unmistakable loud backfiring.
I'm thinking it could be the automatic alignment sensor...

LOL, though I live in Atlanta Georgia now, im originally from England. (Essex boy) I lived in Brentwood, Grays Chelmsford London and numerous other places in England.

Used to go to a nightclub in Romford cant recall the name of it, just down the road from where the market used to be. Oh and a store called mintz and davis or something very similar to that LOL

[cheers]

Secrets , thats it! Where in Brentwood are you moving to?

Its great here, your money goes a lot farther than it does in England. Weather is nice almost all year round too.

I love my 540, I can also afford to keep the tank full of gas(petrol) as opposed to back home [:(]

allrite mate yeah moving to just behind the station well just looking at moment as is expensive area ,anyway i was in boston mass 5 years ago for st patricks week and took taxi's everywhere them cabs sound great man with them v8 engines which you can run on gas so much cheaper than here im forever feeling up here in my 530i.I was looking into an m5 but not shaw on how insurance would gusump or not and obviously would b so heavy on fuel but you can now get them changed to gas here but not every feeling station has the gas and is quite expensive to have done ,is there any hints you could give me to get a better sound out of my car ? keep driving mate [driving2]

Get it fixed? It's either low tire pressure/slipped belt, really f'ed up wheel, or completely shot trailing arm/thrust arm bushings. I did want to ask, what the fu*k is a "rotor arm?" If none of the things i mentioned fixes your car, then I suggest you push it off a cliff!

If you want more sounds, have you thought about putting in a new cold air intake and a new exhaust system? Both of those modifications will increase the sound of the vehicle (as well as providing a more aggressive tone), and you'll get some more power out of the car. Going with an aftermarket ECU chip would be your third step to get even more power. With these three modifications, you should be able to get at least 15 more horsepower out of the car.

I would not recommend converting an E39 M5 to gas. I highly doubt it's possible and, even if it was, you'd ruin it within 12 months of the conversion. An E39 M5 requires a lot of TLC - as it should.

Yeah, Brentwood is expensive, but worth putting your money there if you can because its a commuter town and prices always do well in the long term.

Im absolutely no good to ask about modding cars. I used to mess with them when I was in my teens and 20's but havent done any mechanical work for years now.

What are you talking about, third step? An ECU chip will be the single largest increase in power over ANY other mods. An exhaust + intake combined will yield less power gain than JUST a chip.

Explain what you mean...convert to gas? It already runs on gas!! Maybe I'll do an oxygen conversion on my car [:p]

Ahhhh! I think there is a misunderstanding here! In Aussie we have the option of converting (some of) our cars to run on gas (LPG) which is about half the price as regular petrol. This is why I was stumped when there was mention of converting an M5 to gas; I immediately thought LPG and wondered what in God's name could be worse!
