As far as i am concerned i use, have to use, them sometimes. I am living since 4 years (anniversary day 11/14/03 [:D] [:D] [:D] [:D] ). in a relationship like that we do not need condoms. however, there are times, when it indeed is necessary. reason? you forgot the pill for example or had an illness causing medication that interferes etc. you know what i mean.

though i do not have any of it, having contact with multiple partners requires using a condom by 110% in my eyes!

I would like to believe if someone is in a committed relationship and has been for years that all is safe........BUT...........you are talking about two people and you can only be absolutely sure of one person in the relationship.......yourself.......

I know, I know..........call me a cynic..........but I am a walking blessing of what could of come my way during a 10 year marriage that I thought was a committed relationship. [fake] [fake]

rule of thumb............always protect and serve......[rofl] [rofl]

I still have my v-card. I've been in only one serious relationship, and we both decided we weren't ready. I know a lot of my friends have sex, but I don't feel the same way they do about it. Guess I'm old fashion even though I'm almost 19.

No glove, no love.

I have read this at least 10 times and I still don't understand what you are saying? Be patient, I'm not real smart.

meaning just because you are in a committed relationship, one person may portray committment and practice something else.........therefore you are at risk for diseases if you are not using protection.......the only person you can truly trust in life is yourself......

There is a chance at everything. Wouldn't you rather just use one and void that little, itty-bitty chance out by about 98%¿ My exgirlfriends used to get really, REALLY pissed because I wouldn't have sex without one. If she could get tested for me, but she was also sexually active right before me. Figuring that HIV won't show up on a test for up to six months after it is contracted, she could have still had it and been negative on the test. I just can't find a reason to risk my life because it will "ruin the mood", or because it feels "different".
