Nothing.
If I want to buy something I could get it at better price. "Sale" is another term for mark-up reduction. And who wants to pay the mark-up in the first place.
Friday was another attempt to capatalize on a national holiday that lost its cause.
Today's newspaper had an article about a big sale at a WalMart SuperCenter in Florida. When the store opened, a 41 year old woman was trampled unconcious trying to get a $29 CD Player. The people around her ignored the fact that she fell. When the Elbows and A$$holes finally cleared, there she was on the floor unconcious, still holding the POS $29 CD player that you could buy anywhere, anyday for less than $35, probably less than $29.
For some people it's not the price, it's the thrill of the kill.....
My time is too valuable to waste standing in line and in traffic on Black Friday weekend. I'll take a late lunch and go shopping at 2 PM, or after 8 PM on a week night. And I'll get the same or better prices.
