Went for a nice leisurely drive with Ben at about midnight. We're driving down ocean parkway when this G35 Coupe jumps out in the rear view being a bit aggressive. So I dodge through the bits of traffic and stop at the red light. Then I drive off and this guy catches up and passes me doing about 60. He gets in the right lane at the next red and I'm right behind him. It turns green and he's off taking the center lane, and I'm right behind him. He's flooring it and Im going through the gears up to fourth until I'm riding right by his side. I flash him a thumbs up, he gives it more gas and starts to pull out a bit, then I floor it in 4th and he starts fading. I reach about 90 and he pulls off braking.

G35 Owned. =]

Nope. I assure you, if I was racing a BMW 3-series, I wouldn't lose (no offense to anyone).

Nothing.

If I want to buy something I could get it at better price. "Sale" is another term for mark-up reduction. And who wants to pay the mark-up in the first place.

Friday was another attempt to capatalize on a national holiday that lost its cause.
Today's newspaper had an article about a big sale at a WalMart SuperCenter in Florida. When the store opened, a 41 year old woman was trampled unconcious trying to get a $29 CD Player. The people around her ignored the fact that she fell. When the Elbows and A$$holes finally cleared, there she was on the floor unconcious, still holding the POS $29 CD player that you could buy anywhere, anyday for less than $35, probably less than $29.

For some people it's not the price, it's the thrill of the kill.....

My time is too valuable to waste standing in line and in traffic on Black Friday weekend. I'll take a late lunch and go shopping at 2 PM, or after 8 PM on a week night. And I'll get the same or better prices.

Exactly,.. the "thrill of the kill" will make people buy crap they otherwise will not buy and spend the money they would otherwise save-up for something more valuable and important. Thats why its crazy to shop during those rushes... its an American thing and smart people learn to avoid it.

I think it's crazy what some people will do just to save a few bucks. I never knew that the day after Thanksgiving is THAT hectic, where people are frantically shopping like maniacs. I guess I would join in on the "fun" but I just can't think of anything that I really NEED at one time. Usually, when I make a $100+ investment, I do research first and do some price-shopping online and then order it. I usually don't buy something just because it's such a great deal or just for the hell of it...it has to be something that I really want and like.

I really do not need anything. I fried my laptop a month back so I am in the market for a new one. Hate the new designs and do not want to overpay for "slickness" or any of other crap I do not care about. The one for $500 Toshiba one looks like it was made in 1996.

I don't really need anything either, but that doesn't mean I don't want anything. Maybe santa will bring me a new digital camera?!?! [:)]

I've done hookah a few times...apple is my favorite.[:)]

That night, we did strawberry, and then we tried some kind of Cedar flavor, which was just terrible. We've tried lots of different flavors several times, and Apple consistantly hits the best, for some reason.
