Man I hope I dont get blasted when I come back to the states(if I get my car converted that is)
for the way my car looks.....[confused]
No way. I love the way the //M bodykit looks. As long as you aren't wearing a //M5 badge on a non //M car, I don't see anything wrong with improving the appearance of your car with the //M bodykit.

he wears the ///M badge (WTHOUT NUMBER!!!!!!!!) and that is what he fears. in the us people do not understand that. i assume it is to the fact that was explained before, in the US ///M (WITHOUT NUMBER!!!!!!!!!) is non existant though it is in europe. as it is a "legal" badge for a car equipped with that ///M (WITHOUT....) stuff, it is not posing in europe. in the us people think different about that.

You can buy the Canadian packages (not sure about the other countries) like the Individual package (two tone interior) here in America if you have a really cool dealer. I forgot the actual process, but basically the dealer has to enter in certain code numbers for the options that normally aren't used here in America. It can be done, but it is expensive and the dealer usually makes you put down a nonrefundable deposit to do it. It's sorta like the motorized rear sunshade on the E46. Not on the official list of US options but as long as the dealer puts down option 415 (or whatever the number is), you'll get it.

and the german mill has no problem with that? i mean there has to be a reason for not offering the parts officialy!!! that´s interesting and indeed a very nice move of the dealer who does it.

Well said number #1...thanks for clearing that up for me as I cannot post everyday.
Dont even know if it will be worth it to do the conversion in a couple years or more to bring the car back.
