Hi Guys
Allow me to share my "drying routine" with you.
After washing, I use an electric leaf blower to remove the majority of water off the vehicle, from around the mirrors, trim, door jambs, etc.
The remainder of the water is removed with a MicroFiber waffle weave drying towel.
Do not use any towel to "wipe", but rather "pat or blot" the water with the towel.
This is where the performance of the waffle weave microfiber towel exceeds anything on the market.
A "Quality MicroFiber Towel" will not streak, will not lint, will not scratch and will hold up to 7 times it's weight in water.
Microfiber dries in 1/3 the time of ordinary cleaning towels.
Microfiber is environmentally friendly, requiring no soap or chemicals of any kind.
"Quality MicroFiber" can be used for years with a single investment.
I used to absolutely hate to dry the cars..., now it is a "breeze" (no pun intended
no "after costs", no spots and no "special items" to purchase
Most swirls are introduced to the paint from either washing or drying (it is most advantageous to be carefull during these two steps of car care and to only use quality products for drying or washing..., since we already know this is where a lot of the swirls come from).
To "fill" the swirls, glazes are the products of choice, along with a good carnuba wax such as P21S.
I recommend "removing" the swirls with a product such as Einszett polishes.
Einszett is ISO approved and is the easiest product I have ever used. Not a lot of "dusting", does not "flash" fast and comes off VERY easy.
Hope this helps
