Is there a partular towel that is effective at removing wax? I've been using 100% cotton flannel form Detailers Choice. They work will but get clogged up fast. Just wondering if microfiber is better.

The MicroFiber I carry is the best currently available and I am very proud of the products I sell. (I have MANY references and testimonials)
Each towel is manufactured with a certain "job" in mind.
I have towels for cleaning, dusting, wash mitts, drying, glass cleaning, polishing, polish/wax removal, polish/wax application, etc, etc.

Quality Microfiber works much better than cotton towels for all of the above mentioned tasks...,

Microfiber Benefits and information...,

•Microfiber is hypoallergenic, thus not creating problems with those suffering from allergies or asthma

•Microfiber is non-electorstatic

•Microfiber is super absorbent, absorbing over 7 times it’s weight in water
The two main factors which make microfiber so absorbent are the thinness of the fibers combined with the split wedge shaped fiber construction, creating a rapid capillary action to absorb fluids as well as a massive surface area which can hold much greater quantities of liquid.

•Microfiber dries in 1/3 the time of ordinary cleaning towels

•Microfiber is environmentally friendly

•Microfiber is over 4 times more effective than ordinary cleaning towels.

•Microfiber is totally lint free and non-abrasive

I could go on and on..., but I thing you get the picture:)

If you have any other questions, please let me know.
Thank you for your interest...

Griot's Towel

I use Griots MF towel. One thing that I have noticed is that the towel has lost some of its absorbancy. I've always had to use 2, but they seem to be less effective after time. I wash them separately and do not use fabric softener.
Anybody else notice this?

I'm not real familiar with what Griots is now selling.

I have been using some of the same towels that are 2 years old with no drop in performance.

Most of the time when a towel loses it's performance, it is because of a problem with towel care procedures.., that is why I send out "care sheets" with my towel orders, to make sure they are cared for correctly and my customers all agree they have been the best performers they have used...,

I have never had a complaint about performance or loss of performance in all the years I have been in business. It is VERY important to follow the instructions and your towels will give you years of trouble free performance:)

Hope this helps...

i'm not so sure a microfiber cloth is that great at soaking stuff up.
The whaffle weave towels are great for soakin water up, the only problem with them is that they're so absorbent, that you can't wring them out well.

LOL. They're so absorbent they'll soak up your hands when you're wringing them? [confused]

BIG BLUE towels from CMA (properautocare.com) are astounding! I read a lot of positive stuff about them in this forum and decided to buy two, honestly one isn't quite enough. Anyways, I also have the absorber but I don't use it anymore because BIG BLUE is that much better. No water marks left behind if you dry it out of the sun and quickly after the final rinse.

I've used the water blade but its hard to use on the bmws because of the lines, groves and trim along the sides and on the hood. But it works great on straight runs. I use the big blue towel instead

Waffle Weave towels are VERY absorbant. I have some of Wayne's and when I let my neighbors use it they ended up buying 6 of them.

In regards to what regular bath towels can do to your car here are some pics. The owner told me that he did not realize he was doing this to his car until he washed and dried his new Tahoe and saw the same marks.

Waffle weave towels are great. I have two, one small (Cobra) and one large (Griots Garage).

I used to use a water blade followed by the small towel (worked well) but just got the big yellow drying towel from Griots and it dries the entire car completely.

The Ultra towels I sell are the same and regular price is almost 1/2 what they sell for on the linked site:)

also,
Waynestowels.com
MicroFiber products are the ONLY Zaino approved MicroFiber on the market..., the quality is that high:)

(not only is the price low, the quality high..., but purchasing from a sponsor helps keep the forums going:)
