Hi guys

I have my brake linning lights on and have no idea how to get it off.
I'm pretty new to this car though.
I also have problem with windows congestion inside the car, no matter how high my heat blows it can not clear the glass.

Thanks

You need to check your brake pads. If they are OK, you need to replace the brake pad wear sensors (2x). One is on the front (LHS I think) and the other is on the rear ono the opposite side to the front one.

Is is a smalll sensor which "plugs in" to your brake pad and not everyone replaces it with a new set of pads like they should. I personally don't see the point as I check my pad wear regularly myself, but I put up with the light shining at me all the time.

More than likely your brake pads are ready to be replaced, either on the front/ rear circuits or both.
Remove a wheel and check em out yourself!

You may just have a loose connection on one of the two wires.. they're easy to find... front driver side(left) and rear passenger(right)... check the little plugs or check your pads... if one of the sensors is touching the disc, it's time for pad replacement.
If all your connections are fine and your pads are fine, you can either take the old sensor wire and short the two wires, or you can just remove the dash and pull the bulb out. removing the instrument cluster and reinstalling it takes about 20 minutes.
Your windows fog up because it too damn cold in Ottawa! You're gunna have some fun with that "ix" this weekend with this snow storm we're going to get!

I'm in Ottawa also. I've gotten some parts for pretty good prices at Otto's, but can find better deals through bavauto. I've also used Mike at No limits for some common stuff (brakes, exhaust, etc).
