1991 325IX -- need purchase advice

Any plans for the suspension? If you said it, sorry - wasn't paying attention!Got the floor mats from Bavarian Auto. I ordered "natural" color because my interior is factory designated "natural" but its NOT the same color. They are quite a bit darker. Id call my interior "tan" and the mats are "brown" but I stuck them in the car and I dont think they look half bad so Ill keep them.
The car is anyhing but pristine on the outside. The front hood has chicken pox and has been touched up with touch up paint put on with a freakin putty knife. Its worst up front and near the roundel. Im thinking I may buy one of those $39 short hood bras and put it on which will cover up a lot of the eyesore.
I get the car back tomorrow. Im now about $6300 into it. $3300 to buy, and $3000 to get it all in order. Hopefully it will be trouble free for the next 2-3 years. It BETTER be.

New shocks set you back $1k?! You should've been able to get Koni adjustable (about $600) and a good set of H&R springs or Eibachs for another $300... It would've been more comfortable IMO (Like when you go over a bump, you would feel the bump but after the bump you feel nothing - unlike OEM suspension which lets the car float a little bit).
The stock speakers also take well to a new headunit, so if you ever DO get a cd player in there, you don't have to replace the speakers to get sutable sound quality (in fact the e30's oem setup was the best oem sound system I've heard for a while)

Shocks included labor. The labor was about 1/3 of it. The fronts I guess are pretty complicated. Got to take off the control arms or something. I dont really know. I dont turn a wrench but I have a good one.
I doubt Ill go for a CD player anytime soon. Radio is good enough for me. Im one of those people who dont like knowing which song is coming up.
