After seeing his wonderful speech in Iowa (C-Span), I found that the one of Democratic presidential candidates Mr.Howard Dean is very energetic and smart. I am not a G.O.P or a Democratic. I just hope he will be the president of United States. Howard Dean, Go for America !! [thumb]

Someday, you may run for a governor, who knows? [:D]
Quite true; if a racist flunkout coke-head drunk-driving alcoholic can hold office, why not you? All you need is a rigged election in Florida, the right connections, and people willing to give you oodles of money in return for "personal" favors, right?

Oh and btw, Howard Dean is neat, but i'd much rather see Hilary run just to have another Clinton beat out another Bush after their first term.

LOL [:p] [hihi] [fake]

My view on politics is that the people who only vote democrat or the people who ONLY vote republican -- wether they like the person or not -- are very wrong in what they do, and I think they are ignorant. I am still appalled that half our country could think that george bush was qualified to run th damn country [:(!] Thank god I get to vote this next time...[}:)]

Hey, its not like george bush is doing a good job. I'm not saying the election was rigged or anything, i dont give a f00k about the election anymore, that was 3 years ago. I just dont like what george bush is doing. I'm not a dumbass who calls him names or makes up stuff to prove a point. If i have to prove a point I make sure it's true.

POLITICS IS A VERY BAD THING TO DISCUSS ON THE FORUM BECAUSE EVERYONE SPEAKS AND DEFENDS THEIR OPINIONS. Even if they are very stupid.

Unfortunately even the ignorant people get into the politicial discussions. That is what starts flame wars.

i wouldn´t go so far ans say that there are stupid memebers here. that is, in my eyes, always very impolite and not useful in terms of preventing the war you just named. but it is right that political discussions are not really the perfect topic for a board. they have the tendency to end up very "hot" [hihi]

btw, a good example of a non-flaming thread was the the war-on-iraq thread on the old forum. different opinions and political points-of-view met, but discussing and not dissing and cursing

I'm not saying people are stupid but theres like a little switch in people that when they talk about politics they get waaaay defensive and stuff. Discussing something like the war is okay, but there is almost ALWAYS someoen who will start a flame war by saying something about the people who started it being wrong or something.

Bush may not be the best President but imagine if Gore would have won. That would have been a disaster. He wouldent have done anything in Afgan. or Iraq. And when he found out that they had bio weapons, he would have pissed his pants and went in hideing. Then the whole country would have been screwed.

Extremist's always suck !!

"Way too Liberal" or "way too Conservative" is never good.

It just dont work, too many people in the middle !!!!

So I sleep comfortably on the fence looking at each canidate and each issue one by one.

I find I sway slightly Conservative more often than slightly Liberal.

<sigh> [rolleyes]

bush did an excellent job routing the taliban out of afghanistan, and i don't know how anyone can say that we would be better off if saddam houssein was still in power. he was one of the most evil men in the world, as were his sons, and theres no question that given the opportunity he would have attacked the U.S. i just get pissed off when people say the election was rigged (MidWestThom), because thats how elections work, according to the rules set by the founding fathers of this great nation. anyone who still contends (seriously) that bush stole the election obviously does not have one intellectual bone in his or her body.

It is a foregone conclusion that Al Gore doesnt belong in Politics - I think University life suits him far better.

Nice guy, but not a leader.

The last Democratic President I would vote for

John F. Kennedey
