I am a Satellite Communications Facility Manager at a DSCS in Germany. Ok so we only have two people here but we will have about 30 by the end of the year. I monitor ground station terminals and engineer, establish, and monitor links for the the U.S. military(as a civilian BTW). The job can be very boring at times.....communicators live by the motto: If it is up and running.......LEAVE IT ALONE!!!!!.....so when everything is running you can potentially sit around a whole month just monitoring the systems(green lights...goooood.....yellow lights.....not so good....red lights...very baaaaddd). You dont need a degree for that!!!

Used to blow $hit up in the Army as an Artilleryman. 12 years and broke my back in a training accident training up for this so called war. I was forced to get out and am now a GS civilian working for the ARMY. Go figure.....Pay is DEFINATELY better on the GS side of the house.

Oral Surgeon. Some fear me, some don't. But I see everyone eventually. Went to school in different parts of the country and used to be jealous of college kids with bimmers (I used the subway). I waited until I was working before buying our two BMW's and doubt I will drive anything else.

I'm a porn star.

Oh no, wait, I'm actually a 40 year old software engineer (EE degree though) married with 2 kids. Wife is an engineer too. Can you imagine the wild and crazy times that happen at our house? Sometimes we even swap pocket protectors!

I work in television as a producer and director... and a non-linear editor... I've been doing it since 1988. It's FUN and I actually get PAID to watch TV!

I figured I'd rather have time off later in the summer rather than right away...I will say it's going well so far !
